Tim Krawczyk took over the position of Communications and Marketing Manager on January 15, 2021, at Possehl Erzkontor. This newly created position results from the Road#2024PLUS strategy process started in 2020, when the Lübeck company set up a goal, amongst other things, to strategically develop their communications.
Jan Weber, CEO at Possehl Erzkontor, said: “We have a lot to catch up on communication-wise. In times of globalisation and continuous exchange we want to become more visible. Topics such as our Road#2024PLUS strategy, the introduction of new performance areas such as Consulting or Recycling, international networking, sustainability and social responsibility all need to be communicated to our internal and external interest groups. We can take these steps together with Tim Krawczyk.”
Following his graduation in business communication in 2015, Tim Krawczyk worked as a PR consultant, supporting various companies in the fields of consumer goods, telecommunications, IT and logistics, helping them with their communication challenges.
In the last five years, he was responsible, in his function as Head of Communications at SOEX, a leading company worldwide in the field of used textiles marketing and recycling, for the completely new positioning of the recycler. During this time, he was intensively involved in branding, change communication, sustainability and the recycling economy – all topics that play an important role in the Road#2024PLUS process.
Road#2024PLUS is the new Possehl Erzkontor strategy developed by the CEO, Jan Weber, together with his management team. The trading company aims to increase their verticalisation and diversification by 2024. The goal of this transformation and the strategic new orientation is to support the further development of the company from a commodity trader to an integrative end-to-end supplier for commodities. One focus is on the growing market for processing and recycling of raw materials.
