Dolomite is a common mineral containing calcium and magnesium, from the class of anhydrous carbonates, with the chemical composition CaMg(CO3)2
Origin (local): worldwide, often together with calcium carbonate (CaCO3)
Processing method: crushing, grinding, sieving
Packing: various kinds of packaging are available, e.g.
- Big bags, with or without pallets
- 25kg sacks, with or without pallets
- loose
Hazardous goods: not dangerous
Special properties: Characteristic for dolomite is its greater resistance to acid than calcite

Colour: white, grey, yellowish to red-brown
